Technical Assistance and Favorable Loans for B&H from Japan

srnaaaSarajevo – “Beside planned donations, Japan will offer technical assistance and favourable loans to B&H for the repair of the damages caused during the floods.” – said Bunmei Ibuki, the Chairman of the House of the Representatives of the Japanese Parliament.

During today’s meeting with the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H bakir Izetbegović, Ibuki expressed his condolences to the families of the people died in the recent floods in B&H.

He thanked for the altruistic help that B&H offered his country after the disaster in Fukushima in 2011 and added that Japan appreciates it very much. – was announced at the Presidency of B&H.

Izetbegović thanked Japan for its help to B&H and emphasized the need for helping the population in the flooded areas as soon as possible. He invited Japanese investors to invest in B&H and help the economic development that way.

In a friendly conversation, they spoked a lot about the bilateral relations and concluded that the political relations of B&H and Japan are very good and that extra effort should be made in ameliorating the economic cooperation, no matter the geographic distance – was stated in the communication.
