Elektroprivreda of the RS (ERS) announced an international public call for the procurement of consulting services within the project of Wind Farm Hrgud.

The ERS concluded a concession contract with the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of the RS with the aim to realize this project, according to which the planned period of time needed for the construction of a wind farm is three years, of which two years is needed for preparatory activities, and a year for the actual construction.

The main aim of this program is to increase the share of renewable energy in BH energy system and improve the economic situation in the region. The feasibility study for the Wind Farm Hrgud (WF Hrgud) was created for this purpose.

The total planned costs of the WF Hrgud were estimated at 65 million EUR.

The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany provided a grant in the total amount of 200,000 EUR for cofinancing of ESIA, including optional services.

To recall, the realization of project “Hrgud” in the RS includes the construction of a wind farm with installed capacity of 48 megawatts, and the estimated net annual production is 126 GWh of electricity, and the area of Hrgud is located at the altitude between 960 and 1,100 meters and occupies an area of about 5 square kilometers.

The construction of the wind farm “Hrgud” represents an obligations from the Action Plan for the Construction of Renewable Energy Sources by 2020, which was adopted by the Government of the RS.
