Tesla is Recalling about 200,000 Vehicles in the United States

American carmaker Tesla is recalling about 200,000 vehicles in the United States of America (USA) due to problems with the reversing camera.

“The problem relates to a ‘software instability’ that prevents the display of the reverse image,” the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said.

The vehicles include certain 2023 Tesla Model S, X and Y equipped with a full self-driving system.

Autopilot is intended to allow vehicles to automatically steer, accelerate and brake within their lane.

The latest development follows Tesla’s recall of a record two million vehicles in the US to install new safety features in Autopilot, an advanced driver assistance system, after a federal safety regulator warned there were safety concerns.

In May 2023, the company recalled more than 1.1 million vehicles in China due to braking problems, AA  writes.
