The Art Colony Blagaj & Art Camp in Blagaj to begin on July 31st

blagajThe event The Art Colony Blagaj & Art Camp “Masterpiece for Peace”, whose purpose is to bring together young artists from Mostar and other cities in B&H, is to begin on July 31st and will last for three to six days, depending on the number of applicants.

The Art Colony & Art camp in Blagaj will enable the participants the space for artistic activity in nature and strengthen their joint artistic engagement. The participants of the camp will be isolated in nature in the art camp and create, and also get acquainted with natural beauties of Blagaj.

The call is opened for all artists older than 18 years from Mostar and other cities in B&H, and the application should contain a short biography and photographs of 3-5 works. The deadline for applications is July 15th.

The aforementioned activity is part of a cultural project Youth Art Movement carried out by the Youth Power organization, aiming at strengthening the role of youth in society and the formation of stable cultural platform for the active participation of young artists in the social community.

The project is supported by the US Embassy in Sarajevo.
