The spokesperson of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ljudevit Marić, confirmed that the body of one of the young men whose disappearance was reported to the Stolac Police Station from Sunday to Monday was pulled from the Bregava River this morning.
“One body and a vehicle were pulled out. The search is on for the other body,” said Marić.
Divers searched the area around the place where the car was found, but the second person was not found, the Operations Center of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection announced.
They emphasized that further coordination of the action related to finding another missing person is ongoing.
As previously confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the HNK, the police found license plates and the front bumper of the “Jeep Compas” vehicle in which, as it is assumed, the two missing young men were driving, in the Pitića brijeg area of Stolac on Monday morning. before disappearing.
