sarajevo_resort_osenikLaying of the foundation stone for the construction of a residential village called Sarajevo Resort will take place tomorrow at the area of Osenik, municipality of Hadžici.

Kuwaiti investors bought last year in Osenik 160.000 square meters of land on which they plan to build a resort that among other things will contain indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor sports fields, an artificial lake, supermarket and hotel.

The capacity of the village is 1125 inhabitants and 160 buildings are planned to be built.

Kuwaitis for this project have decided to bring to Osenik a selected clientele from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during the three hottest months of the year, since summer in these countries is extremely hot.

Osenik is chosen because of its proximity Igman and Bjelašnica, but also because from there it is easy to get to Mostar, Počitelj and Dubrovnik.
