Today, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo is organizing the eighth Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The focus of the BiH Economic Forum 2024 is the role of self-sustainable development goals as transformers of social change, with special attention to the challenges facing the region and developing countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.
The theme of this year’s Economic Forum “SDGs, EU, WB Reform Agenda 2030 – from confrontation to cooperation” will be presented through two sessions “Economy” and “Green transition”, and the main speaker of Forum 2024 is the Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija.
The Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2024 will be opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo, Meliha Bašić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, and the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić.
Participation in the Economic Forum BiH 2024 is open without payment of registration fee, but with mandatory prior registration to e-mail [email protected].
The central idea of the Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina refers to the establishment of a platform that connects representatives of the business community, academia and economic policy makers with the aim of promoting entrepreneurial initiatives and partnerships, cultivating public-private dialogue and presenting scientific and technological solutions to promote the sustainable development of our country and region.
The BiH Economic Forum 2024 is organized in cooperation with the Sarajevo Economic Institute, the Foundation of the Society of Common Values, the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), the Solutions Network for Sustainable Development of the Western Balkans (WB SDSN) and the Bosniak Institute – the Adil Zulfikarpašić Foundation.
