The Group’s Card Solutions and RFID Systems departments are serving in the capacity of manufacturers and ELCO is acting as distributor. Elatec’s new facility with more than 1,600 m² – produces SIM cards and packaging as well as RFID chips. The factory has an annual capacity of two digit million SIM cards.
“Our previous growth supports the goals we are pursuing with the opening of our new factory in Northeast Bosnia and Herzegovina. We want to become one of the leading international centres for the personalisation of SIM cards. For that reason, we refused to compromise when it came to the security and access control of the building,” explains Benedikt Leisten, Department Manager at Elatec Card Solutions.
