On August 23rd of this year, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo issued a decision to seize assets worth 3 million BAM from the suspects involved in Operation “Incitat,” led by the arrested and detained Mayor of the Municipality of Trnovo, Ibro Berilo.

A major police operation is currently underway in Bjelasnica, where, according to the Cantonal Court’s decision, the Judicial Police, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (CS), and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) Seized Property Management Agency are confiscating the property.

According to information, five apartments in the “Aroma” hotel on Bjelasnica will be temporarily seized, including Berilo’s hidden apartment, number 25. The value of this apartment, which Berilo attempted to conceal and sell, is estimated at 212.000 BAM.

It has been revealed that apartment 14, valued at 160.931 BAM, apartment 17, worth 283.753 BAM, storage room number 14, valued at 10.360 BAM, parking spot 04, worth 46.694 BAM, as well as apartments 32 and 33, valued at 414.000 BAM, will also be confiscated.

The total value of these assets is 1.1 million BAM.

It is reported that the financial damage allegedly caused by Berilo, through illegal logging and land expropriation, amounts to 3.255.000 BAM.
