The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Stasa Kosarac, confirmed that on Monday, March 13th, the export of beef from BiH to Turkey will begin.

“This year, it was agreed to export a total of 1,000 tons of beef to the Turkish market. The export of the agreed quantities will be realized in stages, with the first contingent to Turkey starting on Monday,” said Kosarac in a statement to agency Srna.

He emphasized that companies from BiH are enabled to export to the Turkish market based on the Free Trade Agreement between BiH and Turkey.

“The continuation of beef exports this year confirms that there is an understanding of the Turkish side for the needs of our export-oriented companies, and that we have stable and good relations with Turkey when it comes to foreign trade,” Kosarac noted.

According to him, this is proof that companies from BiH are capable of meeting the standards aimed at placing domestic products on the Turkish market.

He pointed out that Turkey is an important foreign trade partner of BiH, and that it is necessary to further improve cooperation in all fields.
