The Government adopted an Initiative for construction of new Expressway

12695933_1728141860755824_1547769813_nGovernment of FB&H adopted the initiative for implementation of the project of construction of expressway Lasva – Nevic Polje as the first phase of the project of expressway Lasva – Donji Vakuf according to the model of concession, in accordance with the decision of the Government of FB&H from the 25th of January 2010.

The Government tasked the Ministry of Physical Planning of FB&H to urgently start with the activities that will facilitate obtaining of urban permit.

Public Company Highways of the FB&H is in charge to present the project of construction of the expressway to potential investors and publish a public invitation for expressions of interest.

Route Lasva – Nevic Polje is part of a new extension of the European network of express roads, the so-called route 2A Okucani (Croatia) – Banja Luka – Jajce – Travnik – Lasva and as a very frequent road it represent a great opportunity for the allocation of the first concessions in the field of construction of roads in the FB&H.

The main project of expressway Lasva – Nevic Polje was developed and revised in May 2013. This section is divided into three sub-sections: Lasva – Kaonik that is 5,356 kilometers long, Kaonik – Vitez that is 8.1175 kilometers long and of Vitez – Nevic Polje that is 10.854 kilometers long, which totals to 24,385 kilometers of expressway. On this road are designed 4 loops, 18 bridges, 3 tunnels, 4 centers for the collection of the toll and one rest stop. Estimated value of the project is 217 million EUR.
