Houses in Goražde gorazdeonline.ba

The Kovač family from Vlajčići near Goražde can breathe easier, since the reconstruction work on their home in Berić has been completed.

The reconstruction of Safet Kavazović’s house from Boguće has also recently been completed, both being damaged in the floods.

The houses were reconstructed using means designated for flood-affected areas, from the Federal fund for help for affected areas due to natural disasters, in the territory of the FB&H; a total of 30.885 BAM being spent for the reconstruction of both homes.

‘’In the Kovač family home, complete interior works have been done, by which the entire house was fully renovated, and adequate protection from further landslides has also been completed. The Municipality Goražde has not yet finished, but will continue projects to help endangered families. A resolution for the Čolo family’s housing problem is expected soon’’, said Samira Drakovac, the Head of the Staff of Civil protection of the Municipality Goražde.

Vasvija Kovač and her mother have not been able to hide their joy and gratitude since their house was reconstructed, after living in very difficult conditions for some time.
