Ermin Junuzovic, aka Erko Jun, was only 2 years old when his parents, because of the war in BiH, went to Belgium, Antwerp. Pre-school and primary school have marked Ermin’s first year in Belgium.
Erko started training taekwondo and kick boxing at the age of 12, quite successfully for a boy of his age. The first job, in securing, Ermin got as an 18 year old. With the money he saved from this work, he went on the bodybuilding competition IFBB in 2009. He became world champion in its category three years in a row: 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2011, he finished as the 2nd on the IFBB Balkan, under the flag of BiH.
Ermin moved to Miami, and began a new career in the world of fitness models Musclemania Miami. He won the third place there soon. Through dealing with fitness, Ermin meet excellent photographers, among others Dirk Alexander and Milos Markovic. Erko’s photos started to conquer the world’s major magazines, he started performing in TV programs, recording commercials, appearing in music videos, etc.
A year of 2014 was one of the most important in Erko’s life. He started receiving offers for private business, and became head coach in one of the largest fitness centers in Antwerp and the region, and he met his life companion Oksana Alma, who also deals with fitness. In August 2015, he opened his own shop with fitness equipment, which is branded and protected under the logo Erko Jun.
Erko sent a message to the young people that the path to success is thorny, but they should never, whatever the circumstances, give up on their goals and what they love in life. Erko became a public figure in Belgium, he knows important people from his profession, but he said that he wants to do something for his beloved BiH, to transfer his experience and knowledge to young people in BiH.
