The Pliva Waterfall lit up in Blue for Persons with Autism

12957240_1146174402100181_514051424_n (1)On the occasion of the April 2, the World Autism Awareness Day, a campaign “Light It Up Blue” was held within which the Stari Most in Mostar, the Pliva waterfall in Jajce, and the Sarajevo City Hall and the National Theatre were lit up in blue lights as a sign of support for persons with autism.

During the turning on of lights, activists and citizens who supported the campaign “Light It Up Blue” took photos and made recordings with a drone.

Organizer of the program is EDUS-Education for everyone.

The World Autism Awareness Day is being marked on April 2 every year. This day is aimed at drawing attention to the children with autism disorder who need support in the fields of upbringing, education, health and social protection, as well as the care by the entire society.
