The coach of Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), Barak Bakhar, used the November break for national team matches to leave Serbia and visit his family in Israel.

There, he used the opportunity to appeal to members of Hamas to release the children, whom he claims were abducted in early October.

Bakhar stated that date as the beginning of the Hamas attack on the territory of Israel, although it is clear to everyone that since that day the Israelis have continuously bombarded the Gaza Strip and mass-murdered hundreds of civilians and children of Palestinian nationality.

“The terrorist attack on Israel began on October 7th, when more than 30 children were kidnapped by Hamas and are currently being held captive for five full weeks,” Bakhar wrote on Instagram, adding:

“On behalf of the abducted children, I am asking you to release them and return them to their homes immediately”.
