On January 9th, the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Porfirije will serve the sacred liturgy in the Church of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka on the occasion of celebrating the Unconstitutional Day of the Republika Srpska (RS).

“We invite you to solemnly welcome His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije and take a prayerful part in the Holy Liturgy,“announced the Banja Luka parish.

To recall, the central celebration of the unconstitutional Day of the RS, on January 9th, will be moved from Banja Luka toIstocno Sarajevo this year.

The festive parade, which was organized in the streets of Banja Luka in previous years, is now planned to take place on the streets of Istocno Sarajevo on January 9th.

It is important to note that the Constitutional Court of BiH decided that January 9th, as the day of the RS, is unconstitutional. Today, January 9th is seen in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as the beginning of ethnic cleansing and crimes against the non-Serb population in our country.
