These are the most economically productive Cities in BiH

According to the available data, a list of the most economically productive cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) was created.

Top ten cities in the Republika Srpska (RS) according to the number of companies

According to the number of companies in the RS by municipalities and cities, Banja Luka leads with 3,142 registered companies, followed by Bijeljina with 1,101, then Laktasi 535, Gradiska 492, Prijedor 453, Doboj 361, Zvornik 333, Trebinje 327, Prnjavor 236, Istocno Novo Sarajevo 220.

Top ten cities in RS by number of employees

According to the information from the Tax Administration of the RS, the most successful cities, by number of employees, are:

Banja Luka – 74,136; Bijeljina – 23,870; Istocno Sarajevo 17,142; Prijedor -14,536; Doboj – 13,051; Laktasi – 11,532; Gradiska – 11,262; Zvornik – 9,752; Trebinje – 8,793; Teslic – 7,268

Top ten cities in the Federation of BiH (FBiH) by number of companies

According to the data collected from the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, when it comes to companies in the FBiH, the first place belongs to Sarajevo, which has 11,679 registered active companies.

Mostar is in second place with 3,607 active business entities, then Tuzla with 3,523, Ilidza with 2,424, Bihac with 1,739, Siroki Brijeg with 984, Cazin with 944, Travnik with 934, Tesanj with 862, Gradacac with 844, Ljubuski with 799, and Gracanica with 767 active companies.

Top ten cities in FBiH by number of employees

According to the data received from the Tax Administration of FBiH, these municipalities/cities in FBiH are the most successful in terms of the number of employees: Sarajevo (123,081), Tuzla (38,045), Mostar (34,351), Zenica (27,058), Ilidza (26,077), Travnik (13,288), Tesanj (13,702), Zivinice (11,110), Gracanica (10,976), and Visoko (10,367).

The most successful cantons in terms of exports in FBiH

When it comes to exports from FBiH, according to the data of the Federal Bureau of Statistics, Tuzla Canton has the largest export (22.57%).

At the level of BiH

In terms of the number of companies, Sarajevo is in the first place, Mostar in second, Tuzla in third, Banja Luka in fourth, and Ilidza in fifth.

According to the number of employees in cities and municipalities in BiH, Sarajevo ranks first, Banja Luka ranks second, Tuzla ranks third, Mostar ranks fourth and Zenica ranks fifth, Klix.ba reports.
