As for the restrictions, an employee may not work more than eight hours on the sixth working day and no overtime is allowed, reports Greek media.
In the event that companies have five-day night shifts, the worker on the sixth day may not work in the night shift, reports Srna.
This provision, which comes into force on June 1st, does not have to be followed by employers of companies that have not previously worked five days a week, and there are other exceptions.
