Hadzin potok-Bogovolja, a permanent border crossing for borderland traffic, from today has the status of a temporary border crossing for international traffic.

That will have positive effects for many people from Krajina that work outside of BiH and almost every weekend come back home but are faced with huge traffic at border crossings in Maljevac and Izacic, as well as for the local population that could cross the border with only the relevant pass.

Now, both only need a passport.

This border crossing will have the status of an international border crossing for only three months and after November 1st, it will return to the status of a permanent crossing for borderlands traffic. Therefore, requests from Cazin for a need for a change in the status of this border crossing and the one in Trzacka Rastela – Kordunski Ljeskovac.

There are only three border crossings for international traffic in the Uno Sana Canton: Velika Kladusa – Maljevac, Izacic – Licko Petrovo Selo and Ripac – Uzljebic, due to which there are frequent multi-hour traffic jams at the entrances to and exists from BiH.
