The EUFOR joined a special event in front of the BiH Parliament to mark International Mine Awareness Day.
This day highlights the vital work of saving lives, protecting communities, and rebuilding futures in mine-affected areas.
EUFOR continues to support the BiH mine action sector through education, mentoring, and outreach. Since 2022, over 42,000 citizens—mostly schoolchildren—have received Mine Risk Education (MRE) through EUFOR and Armed Forces BiH.
“Landmines still pose a serious threat. That’s why we’re committed to reaching every corner of the country with the tools and knowledge to stay safe. Together, we’re building a mine-free future,” it was stated from EUFOR.
