Total Seasonally Adjusted Industrial Turnover in Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded Decrease

The total seasonally adjusted industrial turnover in Bosnia and Herzegovina in May this year as compared to April 2020, increased by 1.9%. If compared by markets, then, in the same period, it increased by 3.1% on the domestic market, and increased by 0.7% on the non-domestic market, according to the Bosnian Agency for Statistics.

In May 2020, as compared to May 2019, the total industrial turnover in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, working-day adjusted, decreased by 24.5%. If compared by markets, then, in the same period, it decreased by 16.8% on the domestic market and decreased by 30.7% on the non-domestic market.

In May 2020, as compared to April 2020, the total turnover of durable consumer goods increased by 21.1%, non durable consumer goods increased by 5.1%, capital goods increased by 4.1%, intermediate goods increased by 1.5%, and turnover of energy decreased by 5.5%.

In May 2020, as compared to May 2019, the total turnover of energy decreased by 52.5%, capital goods decreased by 39.2%, durable consumer goods decreased by 30.2%, intermediate goods decreased by 19.2%, and turnover of non-durable consumer goods decreased by 14.4%.
