“Touch the History” in the Historical Museum of B&H

historijski muzejThe project entitled “Touch the history” will be presented tomorrow in the Historical Museum of B&H at 14:00 o’clock.

The objective of this project is to reveal and approach the cultural and historical legacy to the disabled person, especially blind and partially sighted person through a tactile space with replicas of museum exhibits.

The replicas are in fact objects chosen from different periods of Bosnian history, from middle age to contemporary age with the replica of a German sail boat DFS 230 and the Charter of ban Kulin as highlights.

Having in mind a larger availability, the Historical Museum of B&H decided that the disabled person pay a ticket only 1 BAM.

The project “Touch the history” has been financially supported by the Foundation Cultural Heritage Without Borders (CHWB), the Balkans Museum Net and the Foundation Stavros Niarchos.

The opening of the tactile space is planned to take place on the International day of blind and partially sighted person.
