The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo accepted Marko Trifkovic‘s guilty plea in the case of the murder of Sarajevo police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vojinovic and sentenced him to 15 years in prison, said Trifkovic‘s lawyer Drazen Zubak.

At the end of May, Trifkovic pleaded guilty in the case of the murder of Sehovic and Vujinovic in October 2018 in the settlement of Alipasino Polje.

Savo Marinkovic and Aleksandar Macan were also accused of murdering the Sarajevo policemen, and Trifkovic was charged with the criminal offense of aggravated theft.

Marinkovic is accused of killing police officers Sehovic and Vujinovic, firing at least 20 bullets from a machine gun.

According to the indictment, Macan was sitting in the “Golf” which he was trying to start with Trifkovic, while Marinkovicwas in the passenger seat of the “Seat Leon” car, guarding them.

The Prosecution claims that Marinkovic fired a machine gun at the police vehicle in which Sehovic and Vujinovic were and that the accused fled in the “Seat Leon” in the direction of Lukavica and Pale, where they left the vehicle, dismantled and buried the machine gun.

The indictment also states that they used the mobile application “Sky” to send encrypted messages.

The trial for the murder of Sehovic and Vojinovic began in February last year.
