Trump Declares: “America Is Back, The American Dream Is Bigger Than Ever”

America is back, and the American dream is bigger and better than ever, said US President Donald Trump.

In his first address to the US Congress, he said that his administration had made rapid progress in bringing about a new golden age for America, as he promised during the election campaign.

Trump said that his victory in the presidential election gave a decisive mandate to his agenda.

The American leader stressed the importance of implementing a policy against illegal immigration.

During his speech, Trump called on Democrats to join Republicans in “celebrating the improvements that his administration is bringing to America,” reports Russia Today.

Explaining his executive orders in the first few weeks of his term, including the decision to terminate cooperation with the World Health Organization, Trump stressed that the policies of his predecessor, Joseph Biden, were harmful to the United States in many areas.

Trump praised his administration’s decision to end the “tyranny” of diversity, equality and inclusion policies in the United States, including a ban on transgender athletes competing in women’s competitions.

“Our country will no longer be a ‘wok’,” Trump stressed, alluding to the “wok” ideology prevalent in the West.

He called such decisions a “common sense revolution.”

Trump reiterated that schools that allow biological males to compete in women’s competitions will no longer receive funding from the US government.

Speaking about the economy, Trump stressed that he is fighting to “make America affordable again” after a period of high inflation during Biden’s term.

According to him, a significant part of the plan to reduce inflation is support for the energy sector, including oil drilling.

He stated that he intends to “do something” to increase the production of key earth minerals on American soil.

Trump praised the work of the new Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk and tasked with reducing the waste of taxpayer money.

He gave a number of examples of projects that he believes do not deserve American funding, most of which are being carried out in other countries.

Trump claims that the previous administration approved an allocation of eight million dollars “to make mice transgender.”

“It’s real,” Trump said after his statement drew laughter from the audience.

The US president noted that the Department of Government Efficiency has uncovered potential fraud that has cost America billions of dollars, including in the US Social Security system.

“Fighting fraud and theft when it comes to spending federal funds will reduce inflation and make Americans more prosperous,” Trump said.

He expressed confidence that this could ultimately allow the US to balance its federal budget.

Trump promoted his “golden ticket” immigration program, which aims to allow wealthy foreigners to buy residency permits, in contrast to Biden’s policy, which the US president says has allowed illegal immigrants to undermine the US.

Reiterating his promise to “drain the swamp and fight bureaucracy”, Trump stressed that “the days of unelected bureaucrats are numbered”.

During the speech, Trump urged Democrats to vote for his tax cut proposal, arguing that if they did not do so, they risk losing voter support and even their seats in Congress.

He defended his decision to impose tariffs on major trading partners, including Canada, Mexico and China, calling them a way to rebalance trade and protect American manufacturers from unfair competition.

“Almost every country in the world has robbed us and we will not allow that to happen again”, Trump said.

The US president took credit for a $500 billion artificial intelligence project unveiled by leading US technology companies in the first weeks of his term, as well as other investments in domestic manufacturing.

Trump stressed that his administration’s policies will greatly benefit American farmers and the steel industry, which will be protected from competition.

Speaking on migration, Trump once again criticized Biden’s open border policy, claiming that there has been a large influx of criminals across the border with Mexico.

As an example of the border crisis, Trump cited last year’s murder of Laken Riley, who was killed by an immigrant from Venezuela.

Trump claims that his administration’s actions have reduced illegal border crossings to record lows, which is proof that this can be achieved without major legislative reforms.

“We are achieving the great liberation of America,” Trump said.

He showed his executive order honoring Jocelyn Nungaree, the victim of another high-profile murder involving illegal immigrants.

Trump said that the US justice system has been hijacked by “radical leftist lunatics” and that his administration is working to restore fair treatment to citizens under the law.

He announced the decision to make Dejarjay Daniel, a 13-year-old battling brain cancer, an honorary member of the US Secret Service. Daniel had previously been named an honorary deputy chief of the Birmingham Police Department in Florida.

During his speech, the US president expressed his support for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his interest in autism in children. The issue is controversial, as Kennedy claims that certain vaccines have led to an increase in autism cases in children.

Trump promised that there would be no place in the US Armed Forces for “woke” activism. His administration has reversed a policy that allowed transgender recruits.

He also unveiled a program to boost the U.S. shipbuilding industry, saying it was necessary to maintain national security.

Trump highlighted his successful diplomatic efforts to increase U.S. influence over the Panama Canal, which he described as “an infrastructure project built by Americans for Americans.”

The U.S. leader also highlighted his efforts to improve the U.S. position on the Danish autonomous island of Greenland.

Trump announced the capture of a terrorist leader allegedly responsible for an attack during the 2021 withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan that killed 13 U.S. soldiers.

He reiterated his intention to end the conflict in Ukraine, citing the high death toll on both sides and the unfair distribution of the financial burden between the U.S. and European allies in supporting Kiev.

Trump quoted a message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which the Ukrainian leader expressed a desire to achieve peace and offered the US a mineral deal, which the US administration characterized as a way to recoup US money spent on the Ukrainian conflict and increase US investment in Ukraine in the future.

He also highlighted the benefits of diplomatic engagement with Russia, recalling the case of US diplomat Mark Fogel, who was released after being held in Russian custody on drug-related charges.

During his speech, Trump paid tribute to Cory Comperator, who was killed at a Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last year when a gunman tried to assassinate Trump, who was then the Republican presidential candidate.

The US leader called for celebrating the American national spirit and described the US as “a land of pioneers and survivors who defy danger, build civilization and defeat enemies”.

“It’s our turn to take America’s destiny into our own hands. This will be our finest hour,” Trump said.

He reiterated his promise made during his inauguration on January 20th “that the American flag will be planted on Mars and beyond.”

“We will fight for the country our citizens believe in!” Trump said at the end of his address to Congress.
