Twelve Planes with Pilgrims from BiH to depart to Medina in next Four Days

Twelve planes of the Bosnian company FlyBosnia will transport 1,680 Bosnian pilgrims with direct flights from Sarajevo International Airport to Medina.

The flights were scheduled for July 29, 30, 31 and August 1, was confirmed to media from the Islamic Community Hajj Bureau.

Three flights are scheduled for Monday 29 July, at 7.15, 8.30 and 22 o’clock, mainly pilgrims from Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Gorazde and Bihac.

A day later, on July 30, one morning flight will be organized at 10.15 for the remaining pilgrims from Bihac and two flights in the evening at 22.15 and 22.30 for pilgrims from Zenica.

Four flights are planned for Wednesday, July 31 morning at 10.00 and 10.15, and at 22.15 and 22.30 in the evening, for the ones from Zenica, Tuzla, Travnik, Sarajevo and Mostar.

On the last day of the fourth day of departure from Sarajevo’s Medine Route, two flights were scheduled on Thursday, August 1, at 10.00 and 10.15 minutes. On the 11th and 12th,  the remaining pilgrims from Sarajevo will travel to Medina, Fena reported.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Hani bin Abdullah Mominah said that the government, headed by king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said that all safety measures have been taken for the benefit of pilgrims from their arrival to leaving the state and safe return to their homes.

In the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Sarajevo, 2,360 visas were issued for hajj of which for BiH 1,680 visas, for Serbia 660, and for Croatia 20 visas, and this was agreed on the protocols for the hajj which were signed between the Hajj Office and the Ministry of Hajj and KSA.
