The Sarajevo Mountain Rescue Service has been searching for two Dutch citizens who went missing in the area of Mount Visočica.

The Mountain Service received a call from the Dutch Embassy in Sarajevo this morning at 6:10 a.m. that two citizens of that country had disappeared in the area of Mount Visočica, and they sent a request to go out into the field and rescue the injured persons.

Sarajevo Mountain Rescue Service sent two teams of mountain rescuers with search dogs immediately to the field.

“Due to the extremely difficult terrain and the fact that the missing persons spent the night in the open air, the other teams of the Mountain Rescue Service are gathering and will be dispatched to the field to find the lost persons as efficiently and quickly as possible,” the Sarajevo Mountain Rescue Service stated.
