The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has updated its statistics on foreign nationals arrested in the United States for serious criminal offenses, and among the new names on the list are two citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the latest operations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Border Patrol, Brankica Janković and Armin Smajilović were arrested.

Janković was taken into custody in Nashville, Tennessee, and is suspected of possession of narcotics and unauthorized residence on another person’s property.

Smajilović was also arrested in Nashville and is accused of premeditated murder.

It should be noted that the list, titled “Worst of the Worst”, already included 11 individuals who either hold a Bosnian passport or are originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The names previously on the list are Jeton Bytyqi, Admir Vele, Safet Avdulahaj, Demir Kećo, Gordana Juhić, Mirdal Lipljanac, Adnan Sinanović, Kemal Dugalić, Ermin Šarić, Denisa Alimanović, and Hata Šarić.

They face charges for a range of serious criminal offenses, including assaults, possession and distribution of narcotics, theft, and money laundering.

It is still unclear whether the arrested individuals will be deported to Bosnia and Herzegovina and where they are currently being held.
