Two Police Officers Arrested in Sarajevo on Charges of Child Harassment and Sexual Abuse

Police officers from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (MUP KS), under the supervision of the Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, arrested two police officers from the Police Administration of the MUP KS during the night.

As announced by the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton, one police officer is charged with the criminal offense of Sexual Harassment, and the other with the criminal offense of Sexual Abuse of a Child Over 15 Years of Age.

These are separate cases, where the police officers in question were arrested immediately upon learning of the same, i.e. after an official from one of the social care institutions in the Sarajevo Canton contacted the police last night.

The arrested will be subjected to criminal processing today, according to the statement.
