Unveiling of Monument to Pope John Paul II Tomorrow in Sarajevo

Bosnien_3994Tomorrow, the unveiling of the sacred monument to Pope John Paul II will take place in Sarajevo in front of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Sarajevo.

The program will start at noon with a Holy Mass in the Sarajevo Cathedral, which will be led by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna Vinko Puljić.

There will be a procession on the square in front of the Cathedral accompanied by music from the wind orchestra of a Croatian Cultural Club from Čapljina.

The program will include an address by the President of the Croatian Cultural Society ‘Napredak’ Franjo Topić, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of B&H Vjekoslav Bevanda, Chairman of the B&H Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, creator of the monument Hrvoje Urumović, Apostolic Nuncio to B&H Msgr. Luigio Pezzuto, and Cardinal Vinko Puljić.

Cardinal Vinko Puljić and Franjo Topić will reveal the monument, along with scholarship students from ‘Napredak’ and youth from the Archdiocesan Center for youth of the ministry Pope John Paul II from Sarajevo.

Cardinal Vinko Puljić will bless the monument, announced ‘Napredak’.
