Vranduk: Festival of Sevdah Music to be Held Tonight

vrandukZenica – In the fortress of the Royal City of Vranduk, about eight kilometers from Zenica, tonight will be held the eight Festival of Sevdah Vranduk. This event is organized by the Association “Pearls of Sevdah” from Zenica.

This year’s festival will host numerous performers of the sevdalinka song from Zenica, Travnik, Tešanj, Visoko, Kakanj, Vitez, Srebrenik and other cities across B&H.

Within the festival, an exhibition space will be open too where the members of the association “Pearls of Sevdah” will present their works in form of handcrafts, souvenirs, traditional costumes while the hostess of Vranduk will offer the traditional gastronomic meals of the Vranduk countryside.

The general sponsor of this event is the Municipality of Zenica but it is also supported by the Cantonal Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Tourist office of the ZDC and other sponsors.
