The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who is on a one-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), spoke on Monday with the Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordic, about improving relations between Serbia and BiH and the importance of cooperation at the local level.

Vucic and Kordic exchanged views on concrete projects that contribute to better connectivity between cities and people, strengthening the economy and tourism, including a direct Belgrade–Mostar air route, it was announced on the Instagram profile of the President of Serbia.

Vucic emphasized that dialogue and mutual respect represent the only path toward peace, stability, and understanding, and that any cooperation that brings benefits to citizens has special importance.

He stated that such talks contribute to building trust and open space for new joint initiatives that contribute to the stability and prosperity of the entire region.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived on Monday for a visit to BiH, and he was welcomed at Mostar Airport by Zeljka Cvijanovic, a member of the Presidency of BiH from the Serb people.
