‘Women of Podrinje’ Association calls on EUFOR and NATO HQ to protect Returnees

The association ‘Women of Podrinje’ announced, on the occasion of the attack on Osman Mehanović in Bratunac, that we are witnessing frequent attacks on returnees in the RS, which indicates that the situation in the smaller BiH entity has significantly worsened.

They remind that in March there was an attack on returnees from Višegrad and now on a man in Bratunac and that the authorities in RS do not want to protect Bosniaks in that entity.

“There are military forces of the European Union in the EUFOR Altea mission and the NATO headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that is why we call on the EUFOR and the NATO headquarters to take the necessary measures because it is obvious that the police, who inherit the tradition of being responsible for mass war crimes, have no intention of taking any actions to elucidate any crime,” the Association announced.
