srebrenica2The construction of the factory for purchase and processing of potatoes and the production of half-fried frozen fries in Srebrenica is in the final phase.

As confirmed by Cazim Salimovic, the economy advisor to the Mayor of Srebrenica Municipality, the works are nearing completion, the equipment arrived and it will be installed soon.

At this moment, two engineers are needed – a food technologist and an automatic engineer who will, together with foreign experts, install the equipment and train to work on the machines.

The factory should start working in two months, and around 40 workers will be employed. The daily needs for the raw material, particularly potatoes, will amount to 60 tons.

The investor is the private company “Srebrenicanka” which, in cooperation with the municipal authorities, timely and in accordance with the regulations obtained all the necessary permits, in order to place its products to the foreign market.
