Workers of Krivaja to protest in front of the Government of the Federation of BiH

Workers of Krivaja from Zavidovići will gather on Wednesday in front of the building of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are asking for the payment of contributions, the payment of severance pay for dates who have acquired the right to a pension. They are exclusively seeking a meeting with FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić. They do not agree to a meeting with the relevant minister.

This company, which before the war employed more than 12,000 workers, went bankrupt in 2011. Three years later, the Government of FBiH sells part of the company to private hands, so that IP Krivaja and Krivaja Mobel are born. However, the private Krivaja Mobel did not fulfill its obligations, and it, like IP Krivaja, went bankrupt.

Workers who decided to seek their rights at protests in 2021 got the worst of it. For years, they waited for their contributions to be paid so that they could exercise their right to a pension, but the FBiH Government did not fulfill its promises.
