Works on the Tunnel Pečuj commenced

tunel-696x456Works on the section of the Corridor 5C Drivuša-Klopče and Klopče-Donja Gračanica are being conducted according to the plan, despite the fact that this is a very demanding terrain with many landslides.

Works on this demanding section in the length of eight kilometers worth 107 million EUR are executed by the consortium Euroasfalt Strabag, and currently in progress are the works on the entrance to the Tunnel Pečuj, which will be 870 meters long.

In the past period, majority of works were conducted on the construction and landscaping of access roads and relocation of local roads. Also, works are being conducted on the construction of access roads for working plateaus of the viaducts Babina Rijeka and Ričice.

“Dynamics of the works on the Corridor 5C is our priority and more than 250 workers are currently engaged on this section. Complex works on the construction of the bridge Drivuša are currently being executed,” said the Director of the Public Enterprise Motorways of FBiH Đenan Salčin.
