tktThe theatre of Cabaret Tuzla announced this year’s XII TKT Fest-Days of academic theatre 2014, which will be open at the World Day of Theatre on 27 March.

This festival will last eight days, and will be performed in eight plays and two premiere plays, with guests from more than 100 theatre artists from Sarajevo, Mostar, Belgrade, Zrenjanin, Rijeka, Virovitica and Vienna.

‘’At this TKT Fest we have two premiere plays. This year, for the first time in history, the organization of a festival is coming with the premiere by the National Theatre “Tošo Jovanović” from Zrenjanin, and we also have our premiere ‘Stanica’. For the first time the Croatian National Theatre Rijeka is coming with its monodrama ‘Kurva’, based on the text of Vedrana Rudan and ZIjah Sokolović, and Proces Theatre from Belgrade’’, said artistic director of Cabaret Tuzla Vladko Kerošević.

He said that at this year’s festival there will be the Bosnian National Theatre from Zenica with the play “Priča sa istočne strane”.

The festival traditionally begins with a reading of the international message for World Theatre Day, after which the theatre-documentary exhibition will open on occasion of 150 years since the birth of Branislav Nušić.

During the festival, the public will have the chance to evaluate the performances with points of 1-5, and in this way the winner of this year’s XII TKT Fest will be chosen.
