“Zenica the Steel City”: Foreign Investors Met the Representatives of the Metal Companies in Zenica

zenicaWithin the business meetings of the representatives of foreign investors with the representatives of the Municipality of Zenica and metal companies from Zenica with whom many important investments were effectuated in the last few years, a joint meeting concerning the project of improving the local development “GOLD” was held.

This project, financed by the USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and SIDA (Swedish International Agency for development and cooperation) and hosted by the Municipality of Zenica was implemented with a goal to attract new investments and to develop the economy in this community.

The guests were welcomed by the mayor Husejin Smajlović while Amra Mehmedić and Senad Pašalić presented their program entitled “Zenica the Steel City” through which they presented their municipality as a favourable environment for investments and creation of business activities in the metal sector.

During the second part of the meeting with investors, the representatives of several leading companies and investors from the metal sector presented some interesting investment projects and programs which serve to improve the offer of the most important economic sector in Zenica.
