OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Zimbabwe Davis Cup team captain Martin Dzuwa says his team is ready to engage visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina in the opening tie of the Euro Africa Group II which begins on Friday at Harare Sports Club.

Dzuwa says his boys are now sharp and ready and are just waiting for the home crowd to spur them to victory.

“It’s now or never. Yes on paper we are below but my boys are sharp and want to go for a big win. The fact that we are home will definitely matter much and this is ours. We have been saying it over the past week when we gathered as a team,” says Dzuwa.

Visiting team captain Amer Delic whose team is rated 48 against Zimbabwe who are 74 on the ITF Davis Cup rankings insists the game is theirs to take.

“We are hoping for an exciting game. We felt the surfaces and they are good,” Delic said.

The Zimbabwe Bosnia/Herzegovina Davis Cup draw will be conducted on Thursday.

Charges for the match have been pegged at $10 for a seasonal ticket for adults or $4 daily, while children below 18 will have to fork out $5 for a seasonal ticket or $2 daily.
