BiH and Montenegro to enhance Cooperation in Agriculture

ZDC agricultureThe Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has established a proposal on the cooperation in sectors of agriculture and rural development between the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro.

The Memorandum of Understanding envisages activities to improve and extend the cooperation between the institutions in charge of BiH and Montenegro in the process of accession to the European Union. To be more precise, the Memorandum will aim to create better conditions for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture and rural development, exchange of and gain of scientific and economic contacts.

During the meeting, both sides understood that there is need to exchange information, experiences and examples of good practice and all in order to develop cooperation in areas of common interest in agriculture and rural development.
The proposal for Memorandum will be submitted to the BiH Presidency for further proceedings, proposing Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic as signatory.
