Center municipality in Sarajevo secured 19.000 KM from its budget for the continuous monitoring, control and disinfection of water for several local water supplies in the center.
The mayor of center municipality Dževad Bećirević and Snježana Balta, the Director of the Institute for Public Health in Canton Sarjaevo signed an agreement at the beginning of this year financed by the municipality, and the Institute is carrying out analysis, testing and control of water at local water supply systems in several areas around the center.
Throughout this year at several locations there will be disinfection of drinking water, and sanitation inspection would conduct a bacterial analysis once a month and control the level of hydroxide.
