Mostar – organized by the Association of cardiovascular surgeons and cardiovascular anestshesiologists in B&H and the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, the 1st Symposium of Cardiovascular Surgeons and Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists with international character was held for the last two days in Mostar.
On this occasion, a press conference was held at the Cardiovascular surgery department was held. The president of the Organization board, Goran Đuzel emphasized the importance of this symposium.
Talking about the place the UCH Mostar holds as well as other clinical centres in B&H when it comes to cardiovascular surgery and anaesthesiology, Đuzel also said that their goal is to follow the work of the countries which are ahead of us e.g. to start working as soon as possible on the transplantation surgery, mechanic support of the heart and the transplantation of the biologic tissues.
“We have enough of qualified experts, but we miss some technical conditions. I hope we will solve that soon.” – said Goran Đuzel.
There were over 120 experts from the field of cardiovascular surgery and anaesthesiology at the Symposium.
