40 Years Have Passed Since Establishment of the First B&H Presidency

skupstinaOn this day, 40 years ago, the Assembly of the Socialist Republic of B&H at the session of the Council of 29.04.1974 adopted the decision on the election of President and members of the Presidency of B&H.

Rato Dugonjić is elected as the first President of the Presidency of Socialist Republic of B&H. Duties of the Presidency were entrusted to Presidency members Vasi Gačić, Fatima Hadžialić, Ivo Jerkić, Momir Kapor, Dragutin Kosovac, Mustafa Sefo, Ahmet Šehović and Branko Mikulić, according to a statement of the press office of the Municipality Jajce.

Hamdija Pozderac was the Head of Assembly of Socialist Republic of B&H, while Boško Baškot was the President of the Social-Political Council. Refik Hukić was Head of the Educational and Cultural Council, Vlatko Ćosić was the President of the Economic Council, dr, Jamila Hadžimustafić was Head of the Social-Health Council, while Nikola Andrić was the President of the Republican Council.
