A four-month-old Baby was also found in Sanski Most

After four children, aged four months to six years, were found in Sanski Most yesterday afternoon, a mother and son were arrested.

Namely, fifty-four-year-old B.B. from Krkojevci and her twenty-nine-year-old son E.B. were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking.

The Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Interior told Nezavisne that yesterday afternoon, the Sanski Most Police Station received information that several children were in B.B.’s house in the town of Krkojevci, Sanski Most municipality, without parental care, and that there was a suspicion that they could be child victims of human trafficking.

“Upon arriving at the scene, members of the Sanski Most Police Station determined the accuracy of the report and found four children, aged four months to six years, in the house,” Nezavisne novine was told by the USC Ministry of Interior.

They added that the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of USK was informed about everything, as well as members of the Social Work Center, who upon arriving at the scene took over the children who were found and provided them with the necessary medical assistance at the Sanski Most Health Center, and they were placed in a safe house.

“Members of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Directorate of the USC Ministry of Internal Affairs were informed about everything, and with the consent of the acting prosecutor and the verbal order of the Court, carried out on-site investigations, as well as a search of the house and residential premises and auxiliary facilities of person B.B.”, said the USC Ministry of Internal Affairs.
