A Rally against a Construction of a Factory for chemical-thermal plastic Processing held

Informal group of citizens “Eco activists Vlasenica” and the activist movement “Karton revolucija”, with the support of numerous domestic and regional activist associations and individuals, are the organiser’s of a peaceful gathering of citizens of Vlasenica, but also the entire region of Birač as well as the Tuzla Canton, who oppose the construction of a factory for chemical-thermal processing plastic.

Namely, according to announcements, the company Eko plast from Vlasenica, which is owned by SNSD chief Mica Kraljević, plans to build a plant for chemical-thermal processing of plastics from all over Europe in the very center of the city.

Pointing out the harmful effects of such a plant on the environment, as well as a series of legal omissions when obtaining the permits themselves, activists collected around 1,700 signatures in March, demanding an immediate ban on the establishment and construction of such a factory in Ojari.
