What is agreed on the Consultations of Members of the Presidency?

presidency-bihYesterday afternoon, members of the BiH Presidency held informal consultations on a letter that was sent to members of the Presidency of BiH by the International Court of Justice in The Hague in connection with the review of the judgment by the BiH lawsuit against Serbia.

On the consultations, it was agreed that each member of the BiH Presidency will individually submit his opinion to the International Court of Justice.

To recall, on February 24th, the ICJ sent letters to three members of the Presidency of BiH in which it seeks clarification regarding the status of an agent Sakib Softic in the process of revision of the judgment by the BiH lawsuit against Serbia.

The essence of the letter sent to three members of the Presidency is asking for the clarification of the status of Sakib Softic, because of the confusion that arose after last July Mladen Ivanic wrote to the court and challenged Softic’s legitimacy to represent BiH in the process of revision of the judgment.

BiH Presidency members have time until March 2nd until 18:00 o’clock to declare Softic’s status.
