Basic arrived in Rio, the Olympic Team of BiH finally together

rioBH tennis player Mirza Basic arrived yesterday in Rio de Janeiro, where he joined the rest of the Olympic team of BiH that will perform at the Olympic Games.

BH tennis players Mirza Basic and Damir Dzumhur will know the names of their opponents after the draw that will be held on the 6th of August, and swimmer Amina Kajtaz will have the first performances at the Olympics in the 100m butterfly as well as shooter Tatjana Djekanovic.

Flag of BiH will be raised at the Olympic Village on the 4th of August at 2.30 pm local time (7:30 pm Central European) and the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games will be held a day later at the stadium “Maracana”.

According to the leader of the Olympic team of BiH, Said Fazlagic, organizers of the Olympic Games had several problems due to which is noticeable delay in the construction of Olympic facilities, but he added that the hosts did their best in order to secure that athletes have everything they need.
