Becirovic meets with the Ambassador of Greece to BiH

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to BiH Dimitrios Papandreou about the relations between the two countries and the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Press Service of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors agreed that faster and more dynamic work on fulfilling the conditions in the field of European integration is the best way towards the prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They emphasized that obtaining candidate status for membership in the European Union would create positive momentum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Papandreou expressed Greece’s strong support for granting of candidate status for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s membership in the European Union.

Bećirović stressed the need for enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of economy, and stressed the need to sign prepared bilateral agreements and memoranda between the two countries on the mutual exchange and recognition of driver’s licenses, cooperation in the field of youth, as well as between the ministries of justice, and in the field of tourism.

Also, the mutual desire to realize a visit at the highest level between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Greece was expressed.
