On Wednesday, in organisation of the Turkish Military Mission to BiH and in the presence of representatives of institutions and diplomats of Turkey in BiH, there will be a press conference which will mark the beginning of cooperation between Turkish Historical Society (Türk Tarih Kurumu), Oriental Institute in Sarajevo and Institute for History, reports Fena.
In the premises of the Oriental Institute of Sarajevo, participants of the conference will inform the public about the beginning of cooperation between Turkish Historical Society and two significant science institutions that work as a part of University of Sarajevo.
On that occasion, libraries of both institutes will get all editions of Turkish Historical Society with more than 1400 books that present the historical treasure of Turkey. The books deal with the history, interpretation and transcription of historical sources, which is reference literature for employees of two institutes from Sarajevo and for researchers of those fields.
Donation of these valuable editions of Turkish and Ottoman history represents only the beginning of cooperation, after it’ll be possible to talk about joint research projects, co-organising science meetings and seminars, cooperation in translating the most significant editions of Turkish Historical Society in BCS, and most important editions of two institute in Turkish, in order to make the works available to wider audience.
