After the story of Camil Bukva, who lives in the settlement Jabuka near Hranjen and who would welcome the sixth year in a shed, was published in the media, BH diaspora in Scandinavia decided to help him.

At the appeal of Rabija Velic, who is originally from Gorazde, they collected some money to make the life of Camo a bit easier and more beautiful during the holidays, and to enable him to welcome the New Year’s Eve in his new home.

Near his shed is the new house that is under the construction, its roof is done, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

“There is still a lot of work left, the process of rendering is not done, nor the floors. They promised me electricity, and I still need to do the certification, a lightning rod and to set up the tape. Water needs to be done as well,” stated Camil.

He is hoping that his home will be ready in the upcoming year.

“There are a lot of people who helped me, companies, the mufti unit got involved as well. I would like to thank my friends from Sweden, and you cannot describe this feeling until you experience it,” stated Camil.

This chronic asthmatic has only minimal social assistance. He is very humble and does not ask for anything but his friends, neighbours and fellow citizens know that he needs a lot of things for a better life, and they organized a humanitarian action in which everyone can participate and help.

You can make a payment on the account that was opened for the collection of financial assistance to Camil Bukva:
