The establishment of a visa-free travel regime for citizens of BiH and China will considerably improve relations between these two countries, and it will especially strengthen their relations in fields of tourism and business cooperation, as stated by Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH, Chen Bo.

During yesterday’s meeting, Ambassador Bo thanked the Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektic for his extraordinary contribution to the establishment of a visa-free regime, which attracted a lot of attention in Chinese media.

“We expect the arrival of a large number of tourists and businessmen from China after the ratification of this agreement and we need to create a good ambience for their stay in BiH,” stated Ambassador Bo.

Among others, it was planned to establish joint police patrols during the tourist season, which will increase the security of tourists from that country.

They also discussed the topic of improvement of cooperation in other fields, including the organization of training for members of special police units, as announced by the Ministry of Security of BiH.
